Medical Information

Marathon Medical AidFreedom Medical Team wishes everyone a fantastic and safe race. With that in mind, please take precautions to have a healthy race. Keep weather in mind and check the forecast for the weekend. In general, Norfolk's weather in November is mild with the potential for chilly and/or windy days. The average low is 44 degrees and the average high is 62 degrees. Rainfall, although possible, is less likely as the average rainfall in November is about 3 inches total. Plan to pack clothing for after the race that provide warmth if there is a forecast for lower temperatures, rain, or you are from a warmer climate area.

Medical assets will be positioned throughout the course if any runner needs assistance. Bicycle paramedics will also monitor runners and be available to those that need aid. Throughout the course, a runner can seek assistance from the numerous persons including police officers, course marshals, refreshment volunteers, etc.

Have a Great Run!
